We chose the photo off Gabby Douglas that was captured while she was in the middle of a back hand spring. This shows simplicity because she is the only subject in the picture and she fills the frame so you can focus in better. This also shows contrast because her bright gloves and uniform stand out against the plain black background. This shows a unique view point because it is captured head on instead of from the side.

Well done. I also like how the bar acts a bit like a leading line and how the chalk dust off her hands is frozen in mid-air (I guess that last one isn't really a composition technique. I just like it). The picture also shows formal balance. 97
